Maria, founder of Du Ciel I Düsseldorf, 2024 for TheDorf

The designer, originally from Kazakhstan, spent two years in Australia drawing inspiration from women of diverse body shapes and personalities. After returning to Europe, she lived in Düsseldorf for several years, where she founded and developed her lingerie brand. Today, she lives and works in Paris.

Her aim is to create lingerie that meets the individual needs and desires of every woman — sometimes minimalist and clean, other times playful and romantic. At the core of her work is the desire for wearers to feel a deeper connection to their own sensuality and bodies.
